Customized Consulting, Training and Coaching for New Brunswick Non-Profit Organizations

The goal of Customized Consulting, Training and Coaching for NB Non-Profits is to improve the management capacity and governance structures of eligible non-profit organizations.

Eligible Non-Profit Organizations

To be eligible* for assistance Applicants must:

  • Be an incorporated non-profit organization and/or a registered charity, as defined and recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency.
  • Be based in New Brunswick.
  • Have a mandate to directly and significantly contribute to economic development/business support in New Brunswick.

*Special consideration will be given to organizations with a mandate to serve minority Francophone populations.

Customized Consulting & Training

Access up to 5 days of customized consulting and training assistance.

Start with a collaborative organizational capacity assessment, the results of which are used to develop a customized learning plan that details how your organization will take advantage of up to five days worth of a consultant’s time. Examples of outcomes a participating organization could achieve are: revision of board policies or bylaws, creation of staff job descriptions, creation of a communication plan, and facilitation of strategic planning or training with board members.

Leadership Coaching for Economic Development Non-Profits

Open to Executive Directors of NB non-profit organizations that meet the criteria detailed above.

What makes coaching so special? Coaching is a unique concept. It is nothing like education, training, counseling, mentoring or therapy. Coaching is much more than that! Taking advantage of a coach for a period of 4 months means that you will benefit from a “thought partner” who will give you objective feedback, promote self-directed growth and help you find solutions and strategies to your non-profits most pressing challenges.
